Campton Mountain

At 1,505 feet elevation, with 313 feet of vertical terrain and built in 1969, as one of the many amenities of the Waterville Estates community, Campton Mountain Ski Area is a true vintage New Hampshire ski facility. With three main trails (beginner, intermediate and expert) averaging 1550 feet in length, accessed by the original, Swiss made 1969 Städeli compact double chairlift, and a custom, locally engineered beginners’ rope tow, there is just enough terrain for all levels of skiers. Campton Mountain has always depended on natural snow and the trails are groomed with a 35 year old Thiokol groomer. Campton Mountain has offered night skiing for over 30 years and lights up at night with 35+, 500 watt halogen lights. The panoramic views of the ski trails as seen from the rustic, museum-like atmosphere of the Tail Spin Lounge (located in the Base Lodge) offer the unique experience of enjoying top notch food and services with the ability to keep an eye on all other skiers in your group. While the Campton Mountain is privately owned by the Waterville Estates community, the general public has always been warmly welcomed to come share in the experience.
